Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026 · Version 2.0 (draft).

Draft, pending legal review (4 October 2026). These terms have not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and may change before they take effect.

1. The service

Reservory provides booking, payment, waiver, point-of-sale and reporting software for venues ("you"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account and content

You're responsible for activity on your account, the accuracy of the products and sessions you publish, and the legal compliance of your waivers, product terms and refund policies. You own your customer data; we handle it for you as described in our Privacy Policy. You must have a lawful basis to collect it and must only send marketing to guests who have agreed to receive it.

3. Subscription fees

Plans are priced in US dollars and billed monthly or annually in advance, as shown on the pricing page. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year. A free trial does not need a card; if you don't subscribe when it ends, your account is paused and nothing is charged. Fees exclude any taxes that apply. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and it applies from your next billing period.

4. Payments and Stripe

We use Stripe Connect to process payments. By activating payments you also agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

Reservory charges no transaction fee on payments you take. Stripe charges its own processing fees, which depend on the payment method and the type of charge:

  • In-person card payments and membership renewals are charged on your Stripe account. Stripe deducts its fees from your Stripe balance.
  • Online bookings, group payments and gift cards are charged through Reservory's Stripe platform account. Reservory currently pays Stripe's processing fees on these, and the full amount is transferred to your Stripe account.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing how processing fees are charged.

5. Guest refunds, chargebacks and disputes

You set your own guest refund policy and show it at checkout. You decide and issue refunds, and they go back to the guest's original payment method through Stripe. Your refund policy must not exclude rights guests have under the Australian Consumer Law. Chargebacks and disputes follow Stripe's process; we show dispute alerts in your dashboard.

6. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current monthly or annual billing period, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded, except where these terms or the law (including the Australian Consumer Law) require a refund.

We may suspend or end your account if you seriously breach these terms, act fraudulently or put other venues or guests at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can export your data from the dashboard before your account closes.

7. Waivers

Reservory provides the technology to collect electronic signatures. The content of your waivers is your responsibility, and you should get legal advice on whether it is enforceable where you operate. We are not responsible for the legal effect of the waiver content you write.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Reservory available at all times and to announce planned maintenance in advance. This is a target, not a guarantee, and service credits do not apply.

9. Australian Consumer Law and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

Subject to those rights, and except for liability that cannot be limited by law, our total liability for all claims relating to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits.

10. Data retention

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for tax and accounting, usually seven years. You can export your data at any time from the dashboard. Our Privacy Policy explains how guest data is retained and deleted.

11. Changes to these terms

We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a change that is not in your favour. If you don't agree with it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
