REGISTER & KIOSK

Two modes, one screen.

Register mode gives staff the full picture — prices, discounts, refund controls. Kiosk mode flips to a clean guest-facing checkout you can leave unattended. Switch with a URL flag; no app install, no hardware swap.

  • Any tablet works — iPad, Android, Chromebook, Surface.
  • Stripe Reader support for card-present dips and taps, or manual card entry.
  • Offline-tolerant — queues transactions and syncs when connectivity returns.
  • Large targets — every button sized for a busy counter, not a mouse.

SHIFTS & CASH

Open, close, and reconcile in seconds.

Every shift has an opening count and a closing count. Reservory calculates expected cash from every cash sale taken during the shift, so reconciliation is a comparison, not a calculation. The shift report goes to the owner automatically.

  • Opening count locks the starting float on record.
  • Cash-in / cash-out tracked transaction by transaction throughout the shift.
  • Closing report shows expected vs. actual by tender — overage or shortage flagged in amber.
  • Shift history is searchable — who opened, who closed, what moved.

RETAIL & GIFT CARDS

Add-ons and gift cards built in.

Merchandise, grip socks, photo packages, birthday upgrades — add retail SKUs once and they show up in every checkout flow. Gift cards sell and redeem in the same flow, with balances tracked and expiry enforced automatically.

  • Retail SKUs — name, price, tax class, inventory count.
  • Gift cards — sell any denomination, redeem against bookings or POS sales.
  • Split tender — part gift card, part card, part cash in one transaction.
  • Itemized receipts emailed automatically after every sale.
WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything a counter needs.

No add-on modules. No per-feature pricing. Every POS capability ships in every plan.

ANY TABLET

No hardware lock-in

Browser-based. Use the devices you already own or buy a $180 tablet. Stripe Reader plugs in over Bluetooth or Lightning — no proprietary dock required.

SHIFT CLOSE

Cash reconciliation built in

Expected cash is calculated from POS records, not trust. Every shift produces a printable report showing tender breakdown, any variance, and the operator who closed.

GIFT CARDS

Issue, redeem, track

Gift cards are a first-class object. Sell at any denomination, redeem toward any booking or retail sale, check balances on the spot, and let expiry handle itself.

QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Does POS require special hardware?

No. It runs in any modern browser on any tablet — iPad, Android, or a cheap Chromebook bolted to the counter. You can use a Stripe Reader for card-present payments or process cards manually.

How does shift-close work?

At end of shift, the operator reconciles cash in drawer against expected — Reservory shows the expected figure based on cash sales. The shift report captures who opened, who closed, total cash and card by tender, and any overages or shortages.

Can staff issue and redeem gift cards at the POS?

Yes. Gift cards are first-class objects — sell them at the register, redeem them against any booking or retail sale, and check balances on the spot. Expiry is enforced automatically.

What is the difference between register mode and kiosk mode?

Register mode is a full operator UI — staff see prices, can apply discounts, and process refunds. Kiosk mode is a guest-facing screen suitable for self-checkout: minimal UI, no prices visible to staff on shift, and a locked-down view. Both run from the same URL with a mode flag.
